Common Tailor Bird nest Next to Avalanche Lake

A bright yellow-green bird sat shy behind a leaf, not
realizing that its rather distinct bird call gave away its hiding place. It
darted to another tree, revealing a hidden nest. Three leaves were stitched
together carefully, with twigs and dry grass with feathers and leaf bedding.

Peering into the leaves, noticed that it was an empty and newly built nest. The bird, moving its tail up and
down, jumped from branch to branch.
Tailor Birds are known to adapt well along-side human
intervention. What is surprising is that the nests of these birds are built in
low bushes, using broad leaved plants. The female bird with her sharp, pointy
beak, stitches the leaves together using spider webs, twigs and grass.
